After work and study experience in England and Switzerland a slightly crazy challenge emerged – the possibility of opening my own wine and cognac bar in the country of beer drinkers. Are you thinking that a young woman with a university degree from Great Britain and a cognac bar do not go together well? Why not?
The truth is that I did not know much about the cognac world, however….. I do not like prejudice and I like doing things differently. I love quality things that are authentic, intertwining history, art, style and character. The products I work with and the services I provide have exactly all these qualities. It is not only about the bar and the sale of products but also about having fun, telling stories, connecting people and experience. I love entertaining people, informing them about the diverse world of wine and spirits and broadening their horizons.
Since 2004 I have been the only official cognac sommelier, officially The Cognac Educator, for the Czech Republic with an international sphere of action.
If you wish I would like to organize a private customized tasting or I can bring you along to the Cognac region, to the places where you can experience that amazing alchemy yourselves.
